Chris Was Born in the South Australian town of Port Pirie, back in 1971. While growing up, he travelled around the country attending schools in Adelaide, Melbourne, Mt Gambier, Brisbane, Longreach, Waikerie and Bordertown, and always had a passion for writing imaginative stories. Always the quiet one, he would observe the world and people, absorbing everything around him.

On Leaving school, he would soon settle into a normal life, first as an office clerk in a tyre store, and then taking heed of his desire to work in the food industry, becoming an apprentice baker / pastry cook in 1989, and still working in the baking field to this day.

In 2005, he began to scribble down some story ideas, before the Beaconsfield Mine disaster in 2006 which inspired the opening events to his science fiction novel, The Man In Black. Taking the best part of eight years to complete, Chris's real life took many twists and turns, seeing him move from Adelaide to Coffs Harbour to settle down with love of his life, Glenda. Within a few years they were married and had three children.

In 2014, Chris answered the challenge of NaNoWriMo and produced his first to be released novel 5PM, and six months later saw the eventual release of The Man In Black. Seeing potential for a bigger world shown in 5PM, he began producing the 6 part series 7PM, which will come to paperback in July 2016. He is also working on The Man In Red, and The Cowboy, part of the Not Just This World series.

Chris also enjoys travelling, photography and spending time with his family.
